What drives us
The principles behind every decision we make.
Simple by design
We believe the best tools disappear into the background. Typeloom removes complexity so you can focus on what matters — your writing.
Built for creatives
Writers, screenwriters, novelists, researchers — Typeloom is shaped by the needs of people who care deeply about their craft.
Privacy first
Your manuscripts never touch our servers. Your work stays on your device or goes directly to the cloud provider you choose. Always.
Made in Norway
Typeloom is developed in Norway by Bullfolio, a small company with a passion for creative, elegant solutions to complex challenges.
Our story
Typeloom is built by Bullfolio, a small software company based in Norway. We have a simple belief: creative people deserve tools that are powerful yet effortless to use.
At Bullfolio, we are passionate about finding creative, elegant solutions to challenges that might seem large and complex at first glance. Writing a novel, organizing research for a screenplay, managing a multi-chapter thesis — these are ambitious undertakings. We build software that makes them feel manageable.
Typeloom was born from the frustration of scattered tools — a word processor here, a note-taking app there, outlines in yet another place. We wanted one workspace that could hold an entire writing project together, without forcing the writer to think about the tool instead of the story.
We are a small team, and we like it that way. It means every decision is intentional. Every feature is considered. Every line of code is written with care. We don't chase trends — we focus on making the writing experience genuinely better.
Privacy is not a marketing checkbox for us. It's an architectural decision. Typeloom is designed so that your manuscripts and creative work never pass through our servers. Your words belong to you.
