Full Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

1. Acceptance and scope

By creating a Typeloom account, accessing the service, or using any Typeloom feature, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you use Typeloom on behalf of a company, school, publisher, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use Typeloom.

2. Eligibility and account responsibilities

You must be at least the minimum age required to consent to digital services in your jurisdiction to use Typeloom.

You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration information and keep that information updated.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account, except to the extent caused by Typeloom’s own security failure.

You must notify Typeloom promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

3. Description of the service

Typeloom is a software service for writing, editing, organizing, exporting, and managing projects and documents.

Typeloom may add, remove, improve, suspend, or modify features from time to time, including beta, preview, experimental, or limited-availability functionality.

Some parts of the service may depend on third-party platforms, connected storage providers, or infrastructure that Typeloom does not control.

4. Your content and the Typeloom storage model

As between you and Typeloom, you retain full ownership of the text, files, project materials, and other content you create, upload, or store using Typeloom.

Typeloom is designed so that private document content is stored locally on your device or in storage providers that you choose and control. Typeloom backend systems store account data, service metadata, authentication state, and integration credentials — not the private content of your documents.

You grant Typeloom a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, cache, back up, index, and display your content only as necessary to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the service for you.

You are responsible for making sure you have all rights, permissions, and legal authority needed to upload, store, use, or export your content.

You remain responsible for keeping your own backups where needed and for reviewing exported or generated materials before publication, submission, or commercial use.

5. Content responsibility and disclaimer

Typeloom is a tool that facilitates writing and project management. Typeloom does not review, endorse, or assume responsibility for any content created, uploaded, stored, or exported by users.

You are solely responsible for the content you produce using Typeloom, including but not limited to its accuracy, legality, originality, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and third-party rights.

Typeloom shall not be held liable for any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from content that users create, publish, distribute, or share using the service. This includes, without limitation, claims related to defamation, copyright infringement, trademark infringement, privacy violations, or any other intellectual property or legal dispute.

If Typeloom offers AI-assisted writing features, the output generated by such features is provided for informational and creative purposes only. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all AI-assisted output before use. Typeloom does not guarantee the accuracy, originality, or legal compliance of AI-generated content.

6. Acceptable use and prohibited conduct

You may use Typeloom only in compliance with applicable law and these terms.

You may not misuse Typeloom, any connected integration, or any content or output processed through the service. Specifically, you may not:

  • Use Typeloom or its outputs to break the law, facilitate unlawful conduct, evade regulation, or violate another person’s rights.
  • Upload, store, export, or distribute malware, phishing material, spam, or harmful code.
  • Use Typeloom to infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or contractual rights.
  • Attempt to bypass security, probe vulnerabilities, scrape the service at scale, or interfere with the normal operation of Typeloom or its infrastructure.
  • Misrepresent your identity, impersonate another person or entity, or use the service for fraud, deception, or abuse.
  • Reverse engineer, copy, resell, rent, sublicense, or exploit restricted parts of the service except where applicable law clearly permits it.
  • Use the service in a way that could harm Typeloom, its users, its providers, or the public.

7. Third-party services and integrations

Typeloom may allow you to connect third-party storage, login, payment, analytics, communication, or other external services. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy notices.

Typeloom is not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, account restrictions, or data-handling practices of providers you choose to connect.

If you revoke access to an integration or if a provider disables access, some Typeloom functionality may stop working or become limited.

8. Paid features, pricing, and billing

If Typeloom offers paid subscriptions, premium features, workspace plans, or other paid services, you agree to the pricing, billing cadence, taxes, and payment terms presented at the time of purchase.

Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly promised by Typeloom.

Typeloom may change pricing prospectively. Any price change will apply no earlier than the next billing period or renewal cycle unless otherwise required by law.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Typeloom and delete your account at any time.

Typeloom may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to all or part of the service if Typeloom reasonably believes you have violated these terms, created security or legal risk, failed to pay applicable fees, or used the service in a way that may harm Typeloom, other users, or third parties.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Because Typeloom does not store your document content on its servers, your locally stored or cloud-stored files remain under your control.

Termination does not limit either party from pursuing remedies available under law or these terms.

10. Intellectual property in the service

Typeloom and its branding, software, interface design, organization, and service materials are owned by Typeloom or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property and other applicable laws.

Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these terms, no rights, title, or interests in the service are transferred to you.

You may not use Typeloom’s name, logo, or branding without prior written permission.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Typeloom is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.

Typeloom does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, perfectly secure, or suitable for every workflow, jurisdiction, or publishing requirement.

Typeloom makes no representations regarding the suitability, reliability, or accuracy of the service or any content created using the service for any particular purpose.

You are responsible for reviewing your own content, exports, permissions, and legal compliance before relying on Typeloom for professional, commercial, or public-facing use.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Typeloom will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunities arising out of or related to the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Typeloom’s total liability for claims arising out of or related to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to Typeloom for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars (USD 100).

Without limiting the foregoing, Typeloom is not liable for any content you or other users create, store, export, publish, or distribute using the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

13. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Typeloom, its affiliates, and its personnel from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable costs arising out of your content, your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

14. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or the service shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution procedures set out by Typeloom.

Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute informally by contacting Typeloom.

15. Changes to these terms

Typeloom may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If a change is material, Typeloom will provide notice through the service, by email, or by another reasonable method.

Your continued use of Typeloom after updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should stop using the service.

16. Severability

If any provision of these terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

17. Entire agreement

These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Typeloom regarding the use of the service.
